Planning your future.

Updated 2/2002

The Cartwheel Project is developing software tools for molecular biology and creating an infrastructure within which they can interact. Cartwheel is primarily designed to deal with genomic sequence: that is, it is designed to deal with analyses of genomic sequence and the resulting annotations. This reflects our focus on genomics and cis-regulation here at Caltech. [ more... ]

Within less than a year of its inception, FamilyJewels has been used by several labs here at Caltech to help plan and design experiments. Part of this was due to the creation of the Cartwheel Project, which made the batch analysis programs behind the FamilyRelations graphical views available to wet-bench biologists. The Cartwheel Meta-Project exists to help plan future development of the Cartwheel infrastructure, including client-side applications and tie-ins to genome databases.

Interested people should subscribe to the cartwheel-meta list.
